Tower 6 Allentown

TWO MORE COMPANIES LEASE OFFICE SPACE IN TOWER 6

City Center Investment Corp., the real estate development company revitalizing downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania, announced today NJR Energy Services (NJRES) and fedRFP have both signed leases for office space in Tower 6. The Class A office and retail building at Sixth and Hamilton streets, which is in the final stage of construction, is on schedule to open in April 2018.

NJRES, which provides wholesale natural gas to consumers in the United States and Canada, has leased space on the third floor of Tower 6 beginning in late April 2018. NJRES, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources of Wall, New Jersey, formed its Allentown location when the company purchased Talen Energy Corporation’s natural gas trading business in August 2017.

“Tower 6 will be a first-rate facility and perfect location for NJR Energy Services’ Allentown office,” said Terry Crupi, director of marketing for NJR Energy Services. “Our team has a long history in this community, and we are proud to be a part of the exciting growth occurring in Allentown.”

fedRFP, a provider of turnkey solutions to companies looking to increase their business in the federal market, has leased space on the third floor of Tower 6 and will bring eight employees to the building in October 2018.

“We chose to locate our business in downtown Allentown due to its proximity to so many high-quality higher education institutions,” said Nathan Rheinhardt, managing partner of fedRFP. “A downtown Allentown base allows us to recruit and retain top talent, so we chose to grow our business here.”

Constructed of steel and glass, Tower 6 stands 180 feet tall, offering active street views from floors two through five and 360-degree views from floors six through 12. The 145,000-square-foot building will offer retail space on its ground floor. Merrill Lynch, Avantor, Talen, CAPTRUST and CrossAmerica Partners were previously announced as future Tower 6 tenants.

Only 18,000 square feet remain available in Tower 6. The space can be leased in its entirety or divided to as small as 2,500 square feet, making it suitable for companies sized at five to 100 employees.
