Chameleon Pop-Up Shop

New “Chameleon Pop-Up Shop” Opening in Downtown Allentown Fall 2017

City Center Investment Corp. (CCIC), the real estate development company whose major mixed-use development, City Center Lehigh Valley, is revitalizing downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania, announced today it will open a pop-up store in Three City Center this fall.

The “Chameleon Pop-Up Shop” will occupy 1,931 square feet on the first floor of the 166,000-square-foot Class A office and retail building at 515 Hamilton Street. Vendors can rent the entire store or space within it for between one day and several weeks, meaning multiple vendors may operate in the space simultaneously.

“Pop-up shops are upending the traditional rules of retail and redefining how brands interact with customers and introduce new products,” said City Center Real Estate Leasing Associate Natalia Stezenko. “Now more than ever, shoppers are demanding rich, immersive experiences over simple transactions. From online retailers feeling out a brick-and-mortar presence to national brands promoting a new product to Etsy merchants growing their customer base, businesses of all sizes can benefit from the pop-up shop model.”

For interested vendors with little to no experience with pop-up retail, Stezenko has created a guide to help ensure their success.

This fall, Three City Center will be home to more than 600 office professionals following Lehigh Valley Health Network’s relocation of 350 employees to the building. The building also houses the restaurant nosh and the printing and marketing-services company AlphaGraphics.
