Behind the scenes with Greenmouth Juice Cafe

Greenmouth Juice Bar and Cafe serves high quality, organic super-food juices, smoothies, salads, espresso drinks, and pour over coffees. The nutrients in every Greenmouth juice (a 16 oz serving contains 3-5 lbs of veggies!) help boost the immune system, support metabolism, and promote cell growth. Greenmouth supports our local farmers whenever possible and when they can’t (because the product is not available), everything they offer is USDA Certified Organic.

Tell us a bit about your business. 
Greenmouth Juice Cafe features delicious, all-organic food and drinks, made from scratch, using whole food ingredients sourced as local as possible. We offer many plant-based options and are determined to WOW your palate! 

Why did you start your business? 
The business began in 2013 with our store in Easton, and 2015 in Allentown.

How many people does your business employ? 
20 people between both locations, 8 exclusively for Allentown.

What is unique about your business? 
Plant-Based Whole Food (PBWF) options are hard to find in the fast casual food business, let alone all-organic. Just as important our recipes are unique and delicious!

Favorite product/menu item/ cocktail. Why? 
Our avocado toast featuring locally sourced, seeded sourdough bread is our biggest seller. We dress the bread and the avocado just right and serve with fresh sliced fruit or spring mix salad with our house made citrus vinaigrette. Hard to find avo toast this good, anywhere. 

Why do you love working in Downtown Allentown? 
We love our downtown Allentown customers and the occasional celebrity from PPL Center concerts don’t hurt!

Why do customers love coming to your business? 
They know the food is fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. We also are eager to share suggestions and explanations on plant-based whole foods and accompanying superfoods. The all-organic, glass bottled juices we cold-press in-house are also a big attraction, especially for the 1, 3, and 5-day juice cleanse packages.

What motivates you to go to work at your business every morning? 
Knowing that we’re giving people an opportunity to “vote with their dollar” by choosing organic, whole food, prepared fresh. This is the heart of our mission.
